There are many kinds of insects in the world. The ant is one of them. Ants are complex insects that live in a large social groups called colonies. They range in size from miniscule up to one inch long and usually appear black, brown, red or yellow. Ants have a hard outer body called an exoskeleton and three body parts: head, thorax and abdomen. They look much like termites , and the two are confused. Ants can be identified by their elbowed antennae and narrow waist between the abdomen and thorax. They are always so disciplined and hardworking and their activities are always imitable, instructive and encouraging.
